Designed for kids ages 3-5, the mini kick is the quality choice in children’s scooters. The mini won the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold and the Platinum Award Seals for Best Toy in 2009. What makes the mini kick fun and unique is its quality construction and its ‘lean-and-steer’ design, which allows children to use their body weight to control the steering, giving them the feeling of ‘surfing’ the sidewalk, as they curve from right to left, almost like a skateboard. The lean-and-steer adds an element of fun and control that young children love.
The mini’s 3 wheels provide greater stability, making it easier for even the youngest kids to learn to ride. Great for learning balance and coordination.
The wheels are Italian-made of highest quality PU, especially for micro. They provide a smooth glide, making the Mini almost effortless to ride. The wheels also make for a quiet ride, a joy for parents and children alike.
The mini can (and is!) ridden inside, the polyurethane wheels don’t leave black marks on the floor.
The deck of the mini kick is low-to-the-ground and large enough for both feet, making it easy for young children to hop on and off and to switch from pushing, to just enjoying the ride.
The ‘spoon’ brake at the back adds additional control – kids like the control and also because it looks just like the big kids’ scooters.
For parents, the mini kick’s light weight (only 3.3lbs), means it’s easy to pick up and carry when need be, and makes it easier for the kids themselves to pick up and maneuver.
Note: – the mini can hold weights up to 60lbs, when used for cruising, but is not designed for for jumps or tricks.
